I primarily serve adults, young adults, and teens in the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities who are seeking to heal anxiety, depression, and intergenerational trauma. I also work with individuals who are going through various types of life transitions — be it a new job, a move, new relationships — I am here to offer support for all the challenges that come with adjusting to a new chapter or phase of life. 

Before I became a therapist, I was an immunochemist. I know all too well what it’s like to pursue a path that’s not in alignment with my true self for the sake of prestige or praise. When I began my own healing journey confronting childhood wounds, I felt empowered through my work in therapy. I ultimately decided I would love to walk along the healing path with someone else, and I went back to school to become a therapist.

I seek to affirm the lived experiences of BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ folks, focusing on holistic wellness and healing.  

My approach is person-centered, and I turn to Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to best serve your needs. You are the expert on your own life — I am here to offer a warm, accepting environment where you can engage in uncensored self-exploration. You will be met with openness and kindness in our work together. 

Many of my clients seek to incorporate spirituality in our sessions, and I welcome whatever kinds of conversations support your healing so you feel empowered to attend to your mind, body, and spirit. We may incorporate affirmations, meditation, binaural frequencies, shadow work, and progressive muscle relaxation into our work if you find these methods to be helpful and healing.
